Disclaimer
What this site is, what it is not, and the limits of the general technical information published here.
Advertorial notice
The main article on primethicket.com is an advertorial. It contains a paid promotional link to a third-party video player app. If you follow that link and install the app, Prime Thicket LLC may receive compensation from the advertiser. This page is advertising as well as information, and it is not independent journalism.
General information only
Everything published on this site is general technical background, written for a non-specialist audience. It is not professional advice, and it is not tailored to your device, your files or your circumstances. Container support, codec availability and hardware decoding all vary by processor, graphics chip, operating system version and installed components, so a description that is broadly true may not hold on the machine in front of you.
No affiliation with vendors
Prime Thicket LLC does not develop, distribute or support the apps described on this site, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any operating system, browser, chip or device manufacturer. Product and format names are used descriptively; all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
No guarantees
We make no promise that any app, setting or method described here will resolve a particular playback problem. We do not publish performance claims, ratings or user counts that we cannot substantiate, and we do not offer refunds or warranties on behalf of any third party. Any purchase you make from an advertiser is a contract between you and that advertiser.
Third-party links
Links to external websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites, do not monitor their content, and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, pricing or privacy practices. Read the terms and the privacy policy of any site before you install anything or hand over payment details.
Accuracy over time
Codec support, licensing arrangements and app features change. We update pages when we become aware that something has gone out of date, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is current at the moment you read it. If you spot an error, write to support@primethicket.com and we will look at it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prime Thicket LLC accepts no liability for loss or damage arising from reliance on the content of this site, including loss of data, loss of time or costs incurred with a third party. You use the information here at your own discretion.
